Well, it's been a long time! How the heck are you all?! I guess it has been a strange, roller-coaster year for all of us. In the big picture, the world is a very different place now, and a lot more unstable and scary. I don't know about you, but that has seemed to be reflected in the minutiae of my own life as well. It's as though there was a heavy overnight frost and now you have to pay more attention to where you're stepping for fear of slipping on the ice. Everything is less trusted and sure, and we're all holding our breath, either for the next thaw, or the next blizzard.
My big news at the moment is that I am now a bona fide Yank! I took my citizenship oath last week and forsook my Queen etc. I am now "Proud to be an American." I can't think of a more important moment to become enfranchised and able to vote!!!
As you can see I have continued to be busy on Stanley, which continues to be a joyful diversion. It has been so rewarding to see it do so well. I am a BIG hit with the under eights now! It's funny...when I was on "Days" I was mobbed at Disneyland and bowling alleys, on "The Nanny" it was Nordstroms or DuPars coffee shop, now it's Baskin Robbins or Chucky Cheese! I was also fortunate to do an episode of "Touched By An Angel." That is one of the nicest, most calm and happy sets I have been on. Roma and Della were so welcoming and warm and I enjoyed my first visit to the beautiful state of Utah.
As most of you have probably heard by now, I am also returning to Salem for a nine episode arc on "Days." I have such fond memories of my time there and a lot of the same people are back. This was a perfect opportunity to do some work here in town (I'm getting less enamored of being away from the family these days,) re-connecting with some old chums and seeing how Shane has held up after all these years. My story should be airing through November for that month's sweeps period, so let me know what you think. You can write me at email@example.com
I just have to close with a huge Thank You ! to my incredible webmaster, AJ, who has not only maintained what I consider one of the better sites around, but actually managed to keep it interesting and updated with next to no help from me!! I promise to do better.
So, I hope you are all well and that life is treating you well. Remember to make your voice heard in November: whatever your feelings and political persuasion, you have a moral duty to exercise the right to vote and enact the essence of what this country is about.
God Bless all of us.
